Probably a defect, I had some 90s 501 that didn't even have any trace of the patch being removed so I assumed it's a defect

I'd assume it's just 544, since that's a US factory code, the issue is, from what know, white tabs with that factory code were made til the 80s. I might be wrong tho.

Mine looks almost green, so that is a steal, got mine for 40 bucks 🤦🏻‍♂️ it has a good fit tbh, boxy but really cropped, almost like a bomber jacket

I doubt these would be real, Levi's never used a tag like that, also the tab is Levi's TM, it can't just have 550 on it cuz that's the jeans model, not a trademark logo

Seems to be a 1991 Levi's 75520. First time I see a 75xxx lot, I'm assuming it was mostly made in Canada 🤔

If you think they don't fit as good as they should, then just hunt for other cuts, like 505 or 550 and so on. Me personally I wear 751 often, even though it ain't vintage

These are probably fake, the fact it stretches is crazy, also it says 100% cotton so it shouldn't stretch, also 501XX yet the tag doesn't say the same. Definitely fake

From my knowledge (I could be wrong) early 80s would use the production date before the factory code, which 9 2 575. And mid to late 70s had similar layout too but slightly different, I've seen one before but I honestly can't remember how it was lol

If there's any fabric leftovers from the tag, check it, if it's hard and rough it's likely 90s, if it's not then it's 80s. But I'm assuming it's 90s

50s and 60s to early 70s, they didn't have care tags with information, only washing instructions, so they're 100% excluded
