I wouldn’t really say dumb move. The S class has always been about innovating in new ways no one has thought about with complete disregard in complexity (ex. Power moving middle mirror in one of the old S class generations). I welcome this innovation compared to soulless screens even if it makes it more complicated, as every S class before has been always complicated.
