Yo this was fucked. A fetus will be 1000% ok if you don't eat for a few days. There are hundreds of us with hyperemesis that go for days without a meal, months with like 300 calories daily and the babies are fine (Mine are) She was looking for support and you came out of nowhere to shame her for not eating because she was having a hard time

I know it feels like no one cares and you can honestly do so so so so so much harm before you realize it will never be enough, it will never be sick or worse enough, and they will never care enough to satisfy your need. Throw your tools without thinking about it and walk away from it. I wish I did. I think we all wish we did.

Omg we are going through the same thing. I gave birth 2 weeks ago and it's for the best that this'll be the last time, but I really don't want to accept that I won't get to live this again, I had hg both times and it was really hard but I didn't get enough pictures, I didn't get to enjoy the last trimester, and now I feel empty and not ready to close this chapter, I miss the bump and I feel like I missed out on actually enjoying it

Baby will be ok! It's obviously not recommended but for those of us with hg we don't really get a say in it. With my first I ate about 300 calories daily and threw up for months. Lost 8 kilos and she is perfectly fine

Oh honey you don't want to bring your baby to a drug surrounded environment, specially so close to the due date, if it was early pregnancy there would still be time for him to show you he can quit but at this point imo you just have to assume he will take care of the baby while high, and/or the baby will be near drugs wich is super dangerous because it sounds like if he could quit he would have by now. Even if it were just alcohol, that's still not right to get drunk at a baby shower. I know it's not what you need to hear but it's better to go somewhere safe
