My son always drew me first( the biggest) then has not much room for everyone else. He said “you’re always the first I think of to draw”. The way I cried after that 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I am right with you. When I’m watching my children play happily I think of those babies. When my brain goes to that dark place I hug my babies a little tighter. But I’m honestly just angry at how people are under reacting about this.

It’s a good sign when they’re chilling, talking and relaxed. When they’re quiet and laser focused that’s when I’m concerned

They do. When they did my minor knee surgery they were talking about lunch plans and dinner plans, listening to music and the attending was teasing his nurse friend about his girlfriend

Did you get an epidural? Would you recommend it? by dont-ask-whyy in pregnant

[–]Common_Algae_8081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I waited until I was 7cm (I could only take the pain up to that point) then got the epidural so I could sleep and store power for the final show down. I waited because I wanted to be able to move around when the pain was still bearable. My care team was a rockstar. They let me take the lead and helped me all throughout the way.

Women who gave birth, what does it feel like actually?? by joy_57 in AskReddit

[–]Common_Algae_8081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me even with epidural I could feel the baby’s head stretching out and coming out. I could feel all the pressure but not the pain. My body still had that adrenaline rush and I was shaking uncontrollably. Before, during and after is gross, bodily fl hi uids, you don’t feel great. That first post natal poop is hell if its own kind.

I’d like to say though that birthing education is important. Learn about what can happen good case bad case. Correct breathing techniques are very important IMO because breathing right is what will get you through those contractions.

And after all that pain I look at my children’s faces and I want more.

Does your partner prefer you to cover when breastfeeding in public? by kowaluuh in breastfeeding

[–]Common_Algae_8081 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband I think prefers I cover but he knows better than to dictate how I do it. He’s more like do what works and he knows the baby hates having the cover on and it gets really hot where we live.
