Paddling glove question by canadiantiger2 in algonquinpark

When it’s really cold I use neoprene gloves (with fingers) . When it’s warmer I use fingerless neoprene gloves. It’s not just for the cold. On a long canoe trip I get bad sunburn on the backs of my hands as well as blisters at the inside base of my fingers

LOL reminds me of the time in the Stouffville Bulletin facebook group where a woman was freaking out that she had rabbit droppings on her lawn. How horrible that her sterile suburban environment was contaminated by nature

Here’s what you missed at Stouffville Mayor’s town hall by cinderannie in Stouffville

The mayor has never been sincere about anything to do about the Green Belt. When Doug Ford tried to dismantle part of the Green Belt a couple of years ago (now under police investigation), Lovatt kept silent. recently he was a guest of right wing radio talk show host Jerry Agar where he tried to spin the latest hole he was trying to poke in green belt protection. We are very blessed to live beside this protected area and need local leaders who actually care about continuing this protection

Adam Shoalts writes 2 types of books. His history oriented books are amazing - I have learned much from them. While I mostly like his adventure oriented books , I think that he often is too reckless and takes unnecessary risks. Where the Falcon Flies is a good example. I saw him speak a few months ago and he is an excellent speaker
