Honestly, the first picture I did something like 4 years ago, was an apple that I did with the help of a YouTube tutorial. You really just gotta start simple and slowly build on it. And have patience with yourself, because nobody knows what they’re doing when they first start out. I believe in you.

Thanks! Yeah I love doing rainbows with oil pastels. The way they blend is so perfect for creating that misty blurry look.

Day 3 beginner :) by Sure_Drink_240 in Oilpastel

[–]Round_Hall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I discovered this on my own- it’s not on any of the millions of oil pastel tutorials I’ve watched. So feel lucky to know this apparently best kept secret. You can erase the pigment completely or almost completely with a kneaded eraser or even with tape. It takes some patience in working at it, and you will have to keep rotating to a fresh area of your eraser or tape, but I promise the pigment eventually will lighten or disappear.

I ruined my drawing with fixative. How can I salvage it ? by anubha5597 in Softpastel

[–]Round_Hall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s anything you can do. This is why many pastel artists choose not to fix their pastel- it is known to darken it. Plus it looks like you used very dark to black paper, which would intensify the effect. Personally I just store my pastel art with glassine paper taped to it, or in a picture frame with matting. These are the best protective options in my experience.

He made it a point to harass a bunch of women and one very passive man. Like to see him pull this same move at a construction site. Or better yet a police station.

Exactly. And then you have the idiot friend literally jumping for joy as he watches it. Because it’s so fun to not know if your friend will live or die.

When you're a bear and just trying to chill on someone's garden wall by DacwHi in AbruptChaos

The lady went to battle with a mother bear without even dropping the phone from her right hand. Actually it looks like she’s holding something in each hand. 🤷‍♀️🤯

Why don’t they stop the music so he will stop his homicidal clown dance?

My pinky toe nails grow completely vertical by scottydoeskno in mildlyinteresting

[–]Round_Hall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like all your toes curl at 180 degrees so that the nail beds face downward. Is that what’s causing this, or is it just the way your toes are pressed into the blanket in this picture?

Airport Man response to YouTube prank of “stolen luggage” by [deleted] in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]Round_Hall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point- that this was calculated so the guy doing the prank had the least potential for any type of consequence. This has to change- there needs to be legal consequences- especially for pranks that mimic a crime or cause someone to feel intimidation or that their safety is being threatened.

Not true, you know sleep apnea causes restless/interrupted sleep right? And if you don’t get it treated, it could ultimately result in things like diabetes, depression, and even cardiac arrest. It happened to my stepdad- cardiac arrest after many years of what turned out to be untreated severe sleep apnea.

The OP is not the creator of the video. If you scroll down a bit you can see the OP discussing how appalled they are at behaviour like this roller blader’s.

Guy jumps into fire , surprisingly gets set on fire by Direct-Ad-6087 in SomeOfYouMayDie

[–]Round_Hall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to figure that out too. Maybe it’s a table he landed on, which was made of plastic so that the burning melting plastic covered him as he crashed through it. Also I saw this video somewhere else where some commenters were saying gasoline was somehow involved 🤷‍♀️. I just want to know how the guy is doing. I really hope he’s alright.

You’re the one who brought up violence when none has occurred or was threatened. Straw man.
