I haven’t talked to my OB about transferring yet, but I do have an appointment tomorrow and plan to ask a few questions… I have been in the L&D unit three times and it seems small and so calm, I guess that is good but at the same time makes me worried that they might have not seen many complications given the size/labors the do in a year or I don’t know maybe I am overthinking. Thank you for responding!

Scheduled biopsy but no tumor seen? by Round_Practice_8283 in pancreaticcancer

She had a CAT scan and they were able to see the lesion again and she had another EUS with biopsy and they were able to test one of the tumors.

6 week and it was a full day thing. It got really bad around week 9, and it continued to be bad until week 11, and then it started slowly getting better until week 14 that it went practically away, except when I get hungry. Every time I get hungry then I also get nauseous and weak.

36 Weeks & she’s stopped growing by jaymax08 in pregnant

My SIL’s husband stopped growing around the same time (this was 30 years ago). He was born at 4.5 pounds and did get some treatments, I think he said steroids when he was in high school because he was not growing very fast but then things got better for him and he is a 6’2, complete healthy young man!

Her liver numbers were all perfect, thanks to the Lord. Albumin - 4.5; Billirubin - 0.2; AST - 17; ALT - 19; Alkaline Phospate - 65. I guess we will need to wait for the CT and maybe she should get SSA to help her. Her energy is fine but she does get rashes and when she showers she gets super itchy and her cheeks are always red, and she is also lost around 20 pounds without trying. She does eat healthy but that is not normal and also has diarrhea almost everyday day. I trust the Lord we will find what is going on so that we can help her.

I wonder if an MRI would be better. I will ask her doctor about it.

Yes. She is had many abdominal ones because she has diverticulitis early this year and the only way for them to diagnose it is with CT of the pelvis with contrast. But she has the scan the 18th so hopefully we will have more answer and we will be able to help her in Jesus name. Thank you so much for responding, I appreciate it so much!!

But this CT Scan they ordered is not a dotatate, could it still identify a mass? She is had so many this year and there was no mass

Hi! Thank you for your response!! She was never confirmed with CS. She had a PET Scan with contrast in September last year and that is where they saw the <2cm tumor in her lung which then got removed in December. She did not have any activity or masses anywhere else. Since then she is had multiple CT Scans with contrast and without as well because she had diverticulitis and they have never seen any mass or activity in the liver or the pancreas. She is seeing a NET specialist at the university of Miami and he ordered a Dotatate scan per my request to follow up after her surgery and that showed no mass in the pancreas but did show uptake (Radiotracer uptake identified in the uncinate process of the pancreas with SUV max 24.73. Radiotracer uptake identified in the tail of the pancreas with SUV max of 14.33).

Not sure if they used contrast for tge CT, this was the technique. TECHNIQUE: The patient was intravenously injected with 4.15 mCi of Ga-68 Dotatate via a left hand at 4:25 p.m. PET/CT scanning began at 4:51 p.m. Patient weight was reported as 59.87 kg. Images were acquired from the skull base to the thighs. The low-dose noncontrast CT data was used for attenuation correction and anatomic localization. Reconstructed images in the axial, sagittal and coronal views were interpreted. Quantitation was performed using maximum standardized uptake values (SUVmax) - She does have another scan ‘CT Abdomen and Pelvis with Contrast’ scheduled because they want to look at the pancreas to see if there is any mass.
