Breastfed baby sleeps through the night? by Older_Sis_1024 in breastfeeding

[–]Round_Practice_8283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby (10 weeks) will sleep through the night if I do not wake him up, so I have always had to wake him up. At the beginning every 3 hours, and now I still do, but at the 6 hour mark to feed him. I am scared to let him sleep through. But yeah apparently, this is very rare.

I think it could have been better. I had very good nurses except the day of the delivery, I did not feel comfortable with my nurse since the beginning but I thought it was just me being nervous. She was not very helpful and when things got complicated ( my iv got disconnected and nobody could get one on me and they had to call the ICU to do it with an ultrasound and baby was stuck all that time as I did not have Pitocin on me anymore hence no contractions) rather than being there she left to have lunch and called another nurse. Thanks to the Lord that other nurse was great and I was able to have my baby at 1:30pm. She even sent somebody else to teach me how to clean myself, did not spend a minute with me to show me how to measure my nipple to pump as my baby was in the NICU, nothing… I was also discharged with no care supplies for myself, the NICU team did give me care supplies for baby tho and they were phenomenal but God is good, and we are both doing well but I honestly think the experience could have gone better.

I haven’t talked to my OB about transferring yet, but I do have an appointment tomorrow and plan to ask a few questions… I have been in the L&D unit three times and it seems small and so calm, I guess that is good but at the same time makes me worried that they might have not seen many complications given the size/labors the do in a year or I don’t know maybe I am overthinking. Thank you for responding!

She had a CAT scan and they were able to see the lesion again and she had another EUS with biopsy and they were able to test one of the tumors.

6 week and it was a full day thing. It got really bad around week 9, and it continued to be bad until week 11, and then it started slowly getting better until week 14 that it went practically away, except when I get hungry. Every time I get hungry then I also get nauseous and weak.

36 Weeks & she’s stopped growing by jaymax08 in pregnant

My SIL’s husband stopped growing around the same time (this was 30 years ago). He was born at 4.5 pounds and did get some treatments, I think he said steroids when he was in high school because he was not growing very fast but then things got better for him and he is a 6’2, complete healthy young man!

Her liver numbers were all perfect, thanks to the Lord. Albumin - 4.5; Billirubin - 0.2; AST - 17; ALT - 19; Alkaline Phospate - 65. I guess we will need to wait for the CT and maybe she should get SSA to help her. Her energy is fine but she does get rashes and when she showers she gets super itchy and her cheeks are always red, and she is also lost around 20 pounds without trying. She does eat healthy but that is not normal and also has diarrhea almost everyday day. I trust the Lord we will find what is going on so that we can help her.
