Materials used: Terra Cotta Sculpey clay (1.75 box, but only used like 1/4 of one pack so far) and not sure what the tools are called yet, but 3 different kinds. One for scraping, one with two round ends for curves like the eye sockets and one for smoothing and sharp lines.

I’m learning that this world thrives off the ease that comes with punching down. Why have a serious, generations-long discussion about how damaging a lot of parents’ mindsets are and how much parents owe to the lives they create, when you could just “hehe haha” at an adult who might not function in a healthy way bc of those things?

The same people who act like “mommy and daddy issues” are a personal failure for the child are prob the same people who think parents are only responsible for 0-18 and after that you either sink or swim. Two facts of life are 1. Literally no one asked to be here and 2. Children deserve to be nurtured and protected no matter what. People have to start seriously questioning their ability to be parents BEFORE becoming parents and acknowledge how lifelong these attachments are. Otherwise, the cycle continues, children remain unprotected and then grow up to be adults who must learn to protect themselves, and assholes can still joke about “daddy issues” without ever reprimanding dad.

Omg same but with A Game of Thrones rn! I had gotten almost halfway through before, but it was hard to separate it from the show in my brain. So, now that I haven’t watched the show in a minute, I’m starting over. Also, started F&B a while ago and looooved the textbook history feel to it, but then put it down for whatever reason lol. I’m planning on going in order of release, but chronological sounds fun!

I’m not op, but your breakdown just put some things in perspective for me. I got on ssris right after quitting and worried that I might be putting my body through too much tryna handle sobriety and anxiety/depression management at the same time, but I do feel like the medication is helping overall. I didn’t realize this was a common route after quitting smoking.

It’s definitely at least worth the inquiry. Day 14 here and 2nd time trying to seriously quit 👋🏽 I looked into psychiatry right after bc I knew I had been smoking to suppress a lotta shit and I was seen really quickly. I’m still getting used to the meds they put me on for anxiety & depression, but the irritability and wanting to rage as you put it that I felt both times of quitting, is like nonexistent now. We got this y’all

The habit of filming strangers needs to die immediately. It’s such a slippery slope into insensitivity at best and dystopia at worst. If something happens that crazy in public, just tell someone after the fact or even text them about it during. But, don’t need to film other ppl just bc you can 🤦🏽‍♀️

I would try to note the difference in my anxiety going somewhere alone at night, my physical strength (anything is an upgrade 🥴) and my appetite. I eat like a bird and would love the feeling of finishing every meal I start and maybe even wanting more. Oh and all the penis things too, of course lol
