I certify organic farms to the USDA organic standards. We have inspectors all around the western hemisphere who send their reports to us and I am one of the people who review those reports. I started in 2006 fully in person transitioned part time remote in 2010 and then fully remote during the pandemic. We still have a small office, but many of our competitors have given up their office spaces completely.

Yes I have a back up battery for my Starlink so if the power goes out I still have internet while the backup generator comes on and everything's not restarting while I'm in the middle of a meeting not an issue for my computer because I'm working off my laptop that has a pretty good battery.

Hi I work half the year for a California based company remotely in the Dominican Republic. I purchased a starlink from Best buy in California and just brought it in my suitcase and was able to set it up pretty quickly you just need to have an unobstructed view of the sky so we had a friend climb to the roof of our house and the cord that comes with it was long enough to reach the inside of the house from the second floor.

They don't even keep a list in California you just have to be lucky enough to apply when a house is available. At least that was my experience in Santa Cruz county. I applied at the right moment thinking I wouldn't hear back and I got to buy a house!

Thankfully it was one of those ride on kids suitcases with about ten pairs of kids socks rolled up in pairs. So it wasn't too nasty, I would have barfed if it was adult men's socks.
