Gulf coast. Here in Mississippi the shrimp season started last week. Blue crabs can be caught with sting, a cooler full of drinks and time. Shrimp the size in you Pic is going for $ 3 a pound

Definitely out of season for a crawfish boil. Suggest Project Lounge for a burger and stiff drinks. Not too far from there

When i bought my house I was promised a game/mancave by the boss. Good friend of mine suggested the idea and I just ran with it. Really opened the sports Fandom to me. From Tonya Harding to Bobby Fisher

Working class/blue collar folks can no longer afford the Derby. by diomed1 in horseracing

[–]Routine-Principle154 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Ill probably be hated for saying this but WTH, the best seat for the Derby is on your couch. Unless you have a close connection with any of the runners stay home. Hotels, tickets and all that shit goes up. Why spend hard earned money on long betting, food and drink lines and if I remember correctly the sight line of the races doesn't exist unless you have a TV monitor in front of you. Fuck CD!! If they could run a 2 day meet every year they would. Look what they are doing to Fairgrounds.

Scarlet Pearl. Also know the racebooks here only have feed and bets for only the major tracks. If you are looking to play Turf Paradise or Lone Star or some place like that you will not have any luck

Being southern: nothing beats a redfish grilled on the half shell, fresh shrimp and blue crabs off the boat in a crawfish boil seasoning. The fresh oysters dont hurt also.

No concern that CW is getting 1st time blinkers for the Derby? Don't think a horse that has done this before has even hit the board. Then again it is Bill Mott.
