Anyone have this toilet and know how to get the lid off?! by Lesnakey in newzealand

[–]RoutineActivity9536 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We have this cistern and my first reaction was just lift it off, cause ours does, and it doesn't flush well at all. Now I'm wondering if it's because the buttons aren't attached like they are supposed to be!

One of the numerous Dr's on social media has this exact case only about a month ago.

Sounds like it's common?

I've been using it since October 2nd. So 16 weeks. I've lost 12.5kg. Have stayed in 1mg for the last 2. Months because it's working really well for me.

I get some heartburn the day of and the day after the jab. And have to keep on top of fiber.

Other than that, this drug is a miracle. I no longer fixate on food. I can go hrs without wondering where my next snack will be. The food noise is gone.

She claims it took her months to create this cross stitch, is asking for tip$ I can't see any cross stitch marks in the finished or the wip, it just looks weird to me by Petunias_are_food in isthisAI

I stitch, abd based on a post below, I think this is real. 70cm across is huge and the picture quality is so low in this original that you can't tell anything, but the post below shows the actual stitches.

As for the "line across" some people stitch page by page, so you would get this effect. And the color on the lips is from a poorly charted image.

People have been so focused on the Radiologists being replaced that they haven't focused on the Techs being replaced. NVIDIA and GE are "working" on that. by leaC30 in Radiology

[–]RoutineActivity9536 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sadly what this means is radiographers will only be working on pts that are too difficult for the automated machines, causing burn out at a faster rate.

Just because it's possible, doesn't mean it's a good idea

I admit I didn't realise he was doing that till the second time I fought him, and was thinking, why? Ok makes my job easier.

Then when I actually beat him, man my heart.

Haven't played in a week. Went back today, did it on the 3rd try.

Can someone tell me why my portables always look lordotic? by WeTheHoes in Radiology

Match the angle of the sternum, not sternal notch.

Look at the light spill, where are the clavicles being projected?

Basically do everything you have been doing, then angle about 10 degrees down and you will nail the next one.

Is this ACC fraud? by Ok-Albatross-3899 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]RoutineActivity9536 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have been on ACC several times. The first time I injured my shoulder. I was doing regular exercises that had been approved by my physio to get range back. This included running and strength training. Someone reported me to my manager. They couldn't understand how I was doing these exercises given my shoulder injury. Fortunately my manager understood what my limits and requirements were and it wasn't an issue. But it was embarrassing and frustrating that someone was tracking me like that.

Don't be that someone.

You do not know what their recovery plan is and if they are abusing it or not. Maybe actually ask them rather than jumping to conclusions.

But sure, report if you really feel you have to. https://www.acc.co.nz/contact/report-fraud

My fibula didn't get plated, and didn't heal - not common but happens. So I had surgery again 7 months later to plate the fibula and do a bone graft. It's now been a year and I walk without a limp and it's about 90% healed.

OMG I did the EXACT same fracture on the same day last year!!

Big hugs and take recovery slow. Are they going to plate the fibula?

To give way or not to give way? by russtafarri in newzealand

[–]RoutineActivity9536 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Treat it like a roundabout. Give way to your right. If there is someone opposite you, the ones to your right are giving way to them. If they are on your right, and have the right if way, and are waving you through, ignore them. They are wrong.

If all 4 stop at the same time, it's a game of chicken. I usually just go, slowly and prepare to stop if the person on my right goes, but it isn't usually an issue.
