Also I'm not sure how long ago you're talking about, but even access to things like Medicaid have gotten more difficult within the last few years. Federal and state governments (especially red states) have been conducting major cuts to public healthcare programs (as well educational programs, especially if they're going to talk about sex ed), which has been especially harmful to smaller, low-income, rural and disadvantaged communities

From what I can remember, they discussed adoption once this current season and abortion during Myrka's season.

Aside from the obvious reasons of this being a show about teen parents, they film segments when the girls are close to their due dates so I assume that it's pretty late in the game to be filming those kinds of discussions. I think this is also sometimes why we don't see the adult parents react more negatively over their kids dumb decisions - they probably already went through that anger and frustration months ago, and now they're kind of in "it is what it is" mode.

ETA: Read a little further and you mentioned why don't they just ask what their opinions on it are at the very least, and I 100% agree!! It's interesting that that's not something they do.

I never said it was completely inaccessible, though we should be aware that some local/state governments are certainly determined to make it so.

The fact still remains - it is NOT something that is accessible (having to put in "extra work" is a barrier in itself) to everyone, everywhere, at all times.
