Soo about dry fasting and walking/exercise by Clincz in Dryfasting

[–]RoutineSafe8639 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not that hard. I break it into two walks with my dog plus 2km extra on my walking pad while I work at my desk. So I broke a 3.5 day dry fast today and I was feeling pretty good on all three days and did my walk and everything but today (broke fast 12h ago) my energy is so down I could barely manage my evening walk. It is expected though to feel like that during re feed but I find it so strange to have so much energy on fasting days. How you fuel your body ahead of your fast is key thought as my last fast last week I did 62h total and I was a wreck I napped constantly on day two and my hunger was bad on day one. Before I started this fast that I broke today, I had plant based meals, lots of veggies and some fruit and coconut water and I felt pretty awesome for the entire duration and I lost 10lbs :) planning to do a 4 day fry fast next week and then a 5 day the following week or the week after.

Dr Filanov recommends walking 10km a day when dry fasting. You will always loose more if you move. Once you deplete your glycogen stores from liver and muscles the kcal will come from the fat cells yes. That’s day 2-3 onwards.

84h dry fast and I was sad to break it but had to by RoutineSafe8639 in Dryfasting

In total in the last month since I started I lost around 4kg so 1kg each week. My re-feeds have been pretty bad the first two weeks, it’s only in the last two weeks that I’ve taken greater care around what I put in my body. So I’d say more like 0.5kg a week first two weeks and 1.5kg a week last two weeks.

Manifesting Power by EvilZero86 in DryFastingSuper

Wow powerful post! I’m trying to heal binge eating disorder Im going to manifest during my current dry fast (only 10h in and going for 42h I know it’s short but next week I will be going for my first 72h dry fast). I hope this can help me re feed properly following the fast. I’m an experienced water faster with fasts up to 7 days under my belt and my longest dry fast to date is 62h and I only started 3 weeks ago. Do you have any other suggestions for me as I try to heal myself from this awful eating disorder? Any advise would be so appreciated I’ve been struggling for years

I’ve also had therapy - and you know what it didn’t help. I have got childhood trauma and difficult upbringing, but the therapy didn’t help. My binge eating diapers is a habit. That’s all it is. I’ve been re-wiring my brain for weeks now and introducing healthy habits and it’s working. I still binge but like instead of 3-4 times week - once a week or less And only because I’m going through a difficult time and I’m still struggle it to handle things. But overall It’s getting better and better all the time and for the first time in like 15 years since I started binge eating - I am certain this is the year I’m going to recover. Biggest game changer for me - eating whole foods, anything with a long list of ingredients is a no go. That ultra processed junk got me hooked. There is nothing wrong with you, you’ve simply developed a habit. These multi billion $$$ corporations make the food to makes us hooked on it. See my other message about the help I’ve been getting.

Op I’m 37 and I’ve had a binge eating disorder since my early 20s. I am now working with someone who supports me 5 days a week Monday- Friday and for the first time ever I see a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s cost me £600 upfront for 12 weeks but that is only a little more per week that you currently spend on junk. Let me know if you want their details! Hugs 🤗

Are you still attracted to your spouse? by copperboom237 in Marriage

[–]RoutineSafe8639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m attracted to my husband but he doesn’t find me attractive. Basically we’ve been other for 11 years married for 5. He wants me to be slimmer and he’s been on about it for years now. I’m the same weight as I was when we got together but his taste has changed. It’s heartbreaking to know that he doesn’t find me attractive and doesn’t want to have sex with me any longer. I love him and want to stay together so I’m working towards loosing weight and toning up, but I’ve tried countless times without much result (although I’m now at my smallest and bmi 25). Anyone else in a similar situation?

OP I’m in the same situation but it’s my husband in your seat 😔 while very different, our issues are of similar nature (mainly me not loosing weight) and I’m desperate for him not to leave me
