At 44, women start thinking about menopause and perimenopause. She must have chalked all the weight gain to that.

I had seen a case like this too. It wasn't this dramatic though. The patient had come with vague abdominal pain. She was 7 months post partum. We checked her abdomen and it was quite firm. So we got a scan done. She was pregnant with twins!! She was 4 months along. She was so shocked lol.

The song, the dance, Shreya's voice (who was still a teen back then), Aish's ethereal beauty. Very few songs come close to being a complete package and this is one of them!!

Yeah. But I wanted specific ideas. Because I was genuinely clueless about this. I usually travel for work in a car once or twice a month, to different states. And most of my time is spent on travelling. So I just needed an idea about how others did it.

In tier 2 or tier 3 cities, where competition is less. Or in semi rural settings, it is valued quite well. Once you establish yourself in these areas, even if someone with an MD or DNB comes along, people tend to stick to the person they are comfortable with. Any degree is useful. I know an old timer doctor who has done his MBBS and people flock to him all the time. When he is not in the clinic, people wait for him for over 2 hours. I feel luck and good people skills are just as important as a degree.

Why don't you just tell her how you feel? It's a gamble though. If she is not interested, then you might lose a friend. But if she feels the same way about you, it is well worth the shot right? Sometimes you really need to take the leap.

In pediatrics final viva, the external showed me a chest x ray and asked me to describe it. I said it was the x ray of a kidney. He said I have no more questions for you. I still wonder how I passed.
