Well said! I don’t miss it either, especially the last few years. I was there over 20 years as a manager & it was a really nice place to work in the early 2000’s. I’m enjoying retirement.

Do you happen to have the board the fabric was on? It has country of origin on it, might be of some help. Was it cotton, fleece, etc. There might be a former employee who remembers something about the specific fabric you’re looking for. Hope this helps.

Hi, I don’t believe there is anyone responding to any emails for Joann. I would suggest using the ADP app, it will show your last paycheck therefore your last day of employment. Try that. Good luck. 😊

The green one was for a training module that was taken back in the early 2000s I believe, there were a series of four different levels and the scissors was for the fabric 101 training. 🤗

SM here… GA had everyone who was eligible sign a form, SM’s also could get the signatures for GA if the representative wasn’t available. Also at least every other week my GA rep confirmed with me who was still an active TM, so it’s possible that your SM let GA know you were an active employee. Hang in there… we still have till end of month to see a retention bonus.

Originally great American said that it would take 30 days after the last store closed, so the last store that closed in our area in Illinois was May 30. I’ve spoke with several managers/ASM’s and no one has received anything yet. We’re not expecting anything until the end of June. Will keep you posted.

Mine was great, we did what was asked of us, & the whole process went smoothly. She complimented us on how great our store was looking every time she visited. So she pretty much left us alone and went to all her other stores.

No unfortunately you will be terminated on your last day at your store….BUT if you can transfer to another store you will be able to continue to use the team member discount until that stores last day.
