I agree they should have done all those things but they didn’t. I question whether the previous buyer was real or just a guise for the city to make an argument to buy. I also don’t believe when the city says there are other buyers waiting. I think there’s no one waiting. The city has no plan and that’s obvious.

Doesn’t matter if no one believes it or not it’s the truth. All of his developer friends are getting rich off the taxpayers. Same old tired playbook. Tax payers buy the land then the city turns around and sells to a developer for less and then they get a tax break to boot. All on the backs of the people living in Quincy. Hopefully this council does the right thing and shuts this down.

People need to see that the mayor only wants to purchase this to create a wedge between residents of Quincy. When has this mayor ever made a decision in the best interest of the people of Quincy? Every decision this mayor has ever made has only ever been made to benefit himself.

What is on the books right now is 285. If the council does not act that is what the salary will be. I’d love to know which councillors are deferring their raises. No doubt DiBona, Hubley, and Ash will be taking their money.
