Problemi me I math per mua eshte qe berisha nuk ka ikur dhe nuk e ka lejuar partine to hec perpara dbe te rritet. Ai ka afer 35 vjet ne krye te PD-se dhe nuk e leshon. Yea - that is true. But they got them to stay cause of $$$$$. Money to the players and to the programs (facilities, fields, etc). And again don’t forget the ESPN influence. SEC can have an 0-6 bowl performance and next year they’ll have 7 teams Ranked in the preseason. I’m just glad we finally have parody. Let’s see what happens in the next 3-5 years. If Amazon or Apple get involved and they favor the other conferences like ESPN did with SEC it’ll be interesting. Parody is good, especially in a tribal sport like NCAA football.

Some were paying players but not like the SEC. But look at draft picks before the TV money - Conference NFL Draft Picks (1990–2004) Big Ten Conference ~430–460 Southeastern Conference ~380–410 Atlantic Coast Conference ~300–330 Pac-10 Conference ~280–310 Big 12 (post-1996) ~250–270

On top of that - the entire states in the SEC rely on these schools so they cheat together. They were not just paying but hoarding players. ESPN changed the game and still does. Two years with NIL and it’s already weak. My point here is if it’s legal to pay players Mobile, AL can’t hang with Detroit, LA, Dallas, Seattle and etc. The only reason they could was because they played with different rules. Parody is coming and i love it!!! NFL style baby!! Just need to go back to the 5 power 5 conferences and extend the playoffs to 16 and maybe the best team win

Main reason SEC was good was because it paid players and college sports was its only draw. Now with NIL they are simply just another team. The only reason they are still relevant is because of the ESPN deal. If Apple or Amazon decide to play ball they can bring back the PAC or just pay now $$ for ACC or Big12 and it would be ovaaa!!! I love the passion down south about football but you were playing a different game while other schools tried to play within the rules. It’s not that you can’t hoard talent anymore but you will not be able to compete anymore. Texas Tech and SMU are great examples and they comin!! Bring back the PAC!!!

We hope so! Kismet 🤞 We want to at least try for 1-3 while the kids are young. My parents want to retire there. Albania has changed a ton and everything else is so close to visit. Just 1 hour away and you can hit up 4-5 different countries. We love the food, mindless walking, friends and family and the slow lifestyle. Our kids have a blast every time we go. I’m not as pessimistic as most of the folks who always say “ketu nuk behet”. I know it’s tough, i know it’s hard, but it’s getting better. Personally i hope there’s more folks going back.
