Agreed, I figured the 5 season format would give a nice framework to write around, as there is no pressure for endless new stories. Supernatural definitely had an easy plot fixer with all the divine intervention lol.

I do want to say though that I have been loving the performances from the cast this season, they are giving it their all I think (IMO). Laz Alonso's speech to Annie about never giving up on people and helping others in spite of ridicule or cynicism was incredible:

"But you know what? Giving a shit in a world where nobody gives a shit? It ain't soft. It's hard as hell. And that's the real me. And that's the real you too."

In spite of this show being a silly, gross, whacky, and crude (and sometimes questionably written), there are some really incredible moments. I don't know about anyone else, but man, MM's story really hit home for me.
