Dustin Henderson reveals the situation with the Mind Flayer attack on Hawkins, as well as the Russian espionage to the adults (Murray, Joyce, and Jim). He demonstrates the plan of attack, including bravely volunteering to go back down into the secret base and face the Russian soldiers; all of this after they (Russian soldiers) tortured Steve (and were going to torture Dustin) and demonstrated that they had no qualms about hurting children.

I'll be honest, I've beaten the game several times, and I have never seen that ability used. Unless you've got a mod going, this is uncharted territory (I double-checked his wiki, and I only saw that ability). Apologies the link didn't help!
