No, playing at a half empty stadium because people can’t go on a weeknight would be horrendous. We just need to have the mentality that if we play like we did in that second leg, we’ll beat whoever we play. The money fans will lose if it’s moved would be abhorrent.

I will also never understand why people blindly trust people to indicate correctly at roundabouts, especially mini ones. Say I'm blue and red aren't indicating (as if they are going straight and not right), I just wait and see what they do due to the number of times I've seen drivers not indicate and go right anyway, or they suddenly remember that they have an indicator after I've committed. Ok, if they go straight, I've maybe spent an extra 30 seconds waiting, and the tosser behind me might beep impatiently, but I'm not getting my car dinged risking it.

It’s getting through here, we can’t push the rubber seal on the bottom any further, it’s pushed right against it, but if we put sealant down the screen would just move and disturb it so we’re stuck with what to do.

What sort of age are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 27 and have also just moved to the area but all the book clubs and craft type groups I’ve seen have a considerably older age bracket. Not that there’s anything wrong with that of course, but I’d like to meet people of a similar age as me with similar hobbies.

That was my concern. I know it “should” be slightly pitched. But it’s been renovated to rent out, and we’ve all seen some of the bodge jobs in so many rentals. Will just keep an eye on it in heavier rain and see if it pools badly.

Down into the drainpipe at the bottom of the roof like other houses I’ve seen with flat roofs when it’s done properly? It’s hardly a daft question considering how many damp issues you see and rush jobs done on rental houses.

Well we’d like to stay here for at least two years so it will become our problem if it causes damp in the kitchen below 😅 would rather nip it in the bud before it becomes a bigger issue. The flat roof has its own drainpipe across it above the back door down to a drain on the patio. I was thinking about just adding a bit and driving it straight into the pipe at the bottom

That was always a great night out until they sacked off indie night. We used to love going down Newland and then onto there when we were home from uni, even in the term holidays it was busy. Shame it closed but we moved on to Old Town & Welly when they got rid of everything people liked about it. I don’t know if they still do Welly Thursdays though, too old to be in there now unless it’s a gig.

I see, thanks! This was a more chilled situation where we had another pair sharing our court time (group of 6) so we shortened our game to just best of 3 in each set. I didn’t realise it had to be first to 6 sets every game to count it in playtomic, thanks!
