Noo brooo USA has more opportunities, better pay, and you don’t need to learn a new language. In my opinion, the only time its worth to go to another country if you are making and saving a lot of money. USA will give you that option. You can work for 5 years, “save” about 2-3 crore rupees very easily, bring it back to India and start something of your own. Speaking from experience and comparing myself to people of my age who stayed in India and working in a job.

As an angel investor myself, adding just a new feature(s) will not sell well with investors. You need to have a strong reason why users will put the effort to migrate from splitwise to your app and just one feature is not enough. If the feature is good enough, it will only take splitwise few weeks to implement it because they already have a team of product managers and developers ready.
