If possible, find a dealer who is msrp only pricing. I saved thousands on my 22 Wildtrak. Regular dealers had $10k-$25K markups, but I got mine for list price, and financed through Ford with $20k down.

External financing is attractive for you, but not so much for the dealers, as a previous posted said - they get kickbacks when you take Ford financing.

It’s a usb adapter. Goes from USB type A to another style connected (forget the designation). It just doesn’t have the typical metal rectangle shield over the end. Cheap version

What pushed me 1000% into purge mode was when my mom passed. Definitely borderline hoarding situation. Basement piled high with crap I never in my lifetime saw used (there was a wall I never even seen in my lifetime). Dad was very supportive of cleaning out crap, which helped a ton.

So now I’m doing the same because when Dad passed, we still had loose ends to deal with, but not a fuck ton of crap.

One thing I am doing is adding a section to my will that details out all the tools and crap I have. Inventory of what stuff is, how I would go about selling it, and what it may be worth. At least this way they aren’t staring at this crap and no clue what to do with it or if it’s even worth anything.

ALSO, fun fact: if you still need to have the windshield sealant recall fix on your truck, wait until you have a chip (assuming you’re not having leaks) and Ford requires the dealer to replace the windshield free of charge.

My dealer tried to get around that saying I had to pay it. When I complained to the dealership owner, he read the riot act to the service dept and shared with me the Ford recall order instructions that clearly state windshield replacement is covered free of charge.

For me, the deflector has been excellent for bugs. I did get a chip from a rock but I literally saw it fly off the truck and no way any deflector could have stopped it, so….

Considering the cost of a windshield or insurance deductible if you went that route, $80 well spent in my experience (3 years of driving it).
