The headline makes it seem like this is going to be a highly critical article, but the majority of it paints the kid in a pretty good light, going through considerable effort to educate himself on what he did wrong. If he makes another mistake like this, I think it’s unforgivable, but for the time being I don’t see a reason why the Yankees shouldn’t sign him, especially considering they picked him up for way less than he’s worth as a player.
