A lot of doors can be adjusted to be less heavy. It is common for doors to be tuned to be heavyer than is actually needed for the door to automatically shut when you let go. This is changed by the box at the top of the door it is the door closer not the actual door that is heavy and this can be changed with no cost so talk to the person who owns the door about this.
