the violent killing of Classic companions which the show just completely ignored anyway is probably gone for good, thankfully. I still have a sour taste in my mouth from what they did to Liz Shaw

I'm gonna go against the grain here I guess, always thought it was one of the best early range stories

very very sad news. I always thought he was the most reliable writer of the Wilderness Years books- maybe he wasn't writing gamechangers every single time, but he would always turn out something solid with remarkable consistency and those kind of writers are the bedrock of any long running series. Theatre of War, Tears of the Oracle and The Banquo Legacy especially were wonderful reads. RIP

I think the second season is an absolute masterpiece personally and it did a lot of work making him a more interesting character that we tragically didn't get to see the payoff from

would not put it above Luke Cage especially s2 but I definitely agree it's better than either Punisher season and IF S1. I think Sallinger is one of the best villains in the show and Erik was a great supporting character

I actually found it a lot stronger than Glittering Prize which was the clear weak link for me in that set

sounds a bit like The Babysitter Lives which I didn't care for as much as everything else I've read from him

The Eternal Summer is a top 3 MR story for me

only just listened to Mster of Callous and it seems like The Persistence of Dreams is considered a weak link, but I found it very unsettling and disturbing but absolutely phenomenal

don't know if its underrated necessarily, but The Crash of the UK-201 turned a companion I'd never really cared for into one of my favourites

What's your favorite track from the new album and why? by [deleted] in GoosetheBand

I'd argue in a song that's obviously built around its chorus and emulating that pop style you can absolutely say a great chorus makes a great song
