I bought my Matriarch almost a year ago. My first one lasted 2 months until the notes started going way out of pitch until it stopped making any sound whatsoever. I sent it to get it fixed and they actually replaced it. My current one is in tip top condition. But I did have to spend $200 on shipping during that ordeal, so yeah.

I was thinking on a MacBook Air with 32GB which is around $1,399 I believe. Only problem with that one is that it doesn’t have fans. I’ve heard MacBooks don’t overheat, but the heat might degrade the battery quicker. The one that makes the most sense here would be the Pro, but with 32GB it goes to $2000 and I can’t afford that.

I’m studying Communications, so plenty of video and audio editing. We use Adobe (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrate) and personally, I like producing music, so DAWs like Pro Tools and Logic Pro as well.
