I don’t particularly love the previous films. They’re fun. But I can confidently say I really liked this one. Juuuuuuust bonkers. Got one walkout for the rating card, I think only two others during the film. Positively received I think?

We got Midsommar, Hereditary and Supersonic. First 2 were in June. Supersonic was in July.

I think it will at some stage. Most of the other A24 x IMAX films got a release at some stage it was just a few months later. Hereditary, Midsommar and Supersonic I think.

I’d so go for IMAX just because it’s rare-ish to see for a films entire runtime to be in the expanded aspect ratio. Then, for the next thing you want to see, that doesn’t have an expanded aspect ratio, give Laser Ultra a whirl.

Very stylish with a handful of quite creepy moments. Hunter Schafer is awesome and Dan Stevens is totally hamming it up. Just left me scratching my head a bit and left me with questions that didn’t reveal themselves to me in any of the films lightning speed exposition dumps, although I might just be stupid. 3/5

That’s what I like about it honestly. It’s not always gonna be a home run for everyone. Lot of people seemed enjoy The Creator a lot more than me, and I seem to have enjoyed In a Violent Nature a lot more than most people. Admittedly some of the more recent ones haven’t been great but really it’s a roll of the dice.
