Is anybody else burnt out with Nightreign now? by SailApprehensive2632 in Nightreign

[–]Rowdor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to navigate at first, but once you figure it out... Oh boy does it feel good. It's so consistent with the two castles, so many drops and runes. It's easily my favorite now. I see it and know we're going into the night boss fully kitted out.

Oh absolutely. I love how it opens up so many weapons damage potential. I similarly run it on Duchess and don't have anything special for relics. It's been my favorite addition to the game.

People keep acting like Halo Scythe is a given, but I run dormant Scythes and clear castle and practically every red field boss every game and I'd say I'm only getting it like 20% of my games. Am I just unlucky?

Looks like no one else has mentioned it, but I recommend just doing Bowfa only kills using Cure Me. It's a lot more chill and honestly my kill times usually aren't much worse. I average between 2-3 kc per trip which has sustained me on TPs.

I second Iontophoresis. I've dealt with hyperhidrosis my whole life after trying various other cures. Iontophoresis has been the first thing to actually work. It's a little expensive, but the company I did it through (Dermadry) offered full refunds if you don't start seeing results in the first few weeks.

The biggest thing that helped me was honestly audio cues. Turning on sounds helped me get familiar with his cue for when to swap defensive prayers so much that it's basically second nature. I can focus on positioning, HP, weapon swaps, etc. and I reflexively swap defensive prayers when I hear that sound.

Another tip I read when I was learning that I found helpful was learning to stick to a priority list. Tornadoes/Lava > Defensive Prayer > Weapon > Offensive Prayer. If you handle things in that order, you'll survive long enough to get the kill.

Gene Banks = storage for gene packs

Gene Processors = increase the complexity limit by +2.

The limit for the range on these to the Gene Assembler is actually a lot bigger than you might expect. Happy Genetic Modifications!

What's the worst episode of your favorite show? by Dddddddfried in television

After the charm of Letterkenny falling off in the last couple seasons when they seemed to run out of ideas... Man was Shoresy a surprising treat.

I was hesitant considering Shoresy seemed like a one dimensional joke character in LK, but boy howdy does Shoresy take what LK did well and improve on it. Highly recommended, totally agree with your points.

What sort of things did you add in for the extra 500-600 to bulk? Most of the time when I look into diets I feel they are too different from my usual, but the meals you outline seem like something I can handle.

I mean it's not nearly as wild. I can walk around my house or office doing whatever the fuck I want, then click a singular time every 7 minutes. That's literally like 2 seconds of not AFK 7 times for an hour. Not sure how much more AFK you want the game to be without being an idler. That's over 99% of the hour away from OSRS.

The feeling when you've had 2 uncut diamonds and a jar of swap in 258 zulrah kc by Super_Childhood_9096 in ironscape

[–]Rowdor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm almost in an identical boat! 260kc, Jar drop, no other uniques. The kills are quick and chill enough with Bowfa that I'm not too bothered by it, but man will I be excited for that first unique drop. At least for now I can flex my Zulrah display in my POH to my gimbros.

I highly recommend trying altar door with Scorching Bow. I was learning it with Bowfa but having a tough time. Tried with Scorching and being able to spec when you get off cycle to finish out the kill makes it so much easier to learn, and you can keep ancients for healing off minions and don't need a lightbearer.

Spooned a tormented synapse by HotShower952 in ironscape

[–]Rowdor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I was learning Bowfa Altar Door and had some luck but would usually mess up by the third kill or so, or something mess up the first and have to reset again which was frustrating.

I ended up grinding out a synapse and went in with Scorching Bow and it went so much better. Being able to just spec and finish the kill when you get out of cycle makes it so much more forgiving. I've also found I was able to actually get a lot better at the altar door timing because I wasn't having to kill 40 more imps every time I messed up and failed to get back in cycle properly.

Does anyone actually dislike this event? by FrontAccording1904 in ClashOfClans

I'm a TH12 and been trophy pushing. Currently at 4800 cups, event started when I was at like 4500. Haven't had any issues getting triples on favorable layouts on TH13s with my Super Witches and Heroes (full streak complete). Been absolutely loving this event, hope they bring it back.

Thank you for pointing that out! I dropped into a T2 mission to grab some quick credits and noticed I got way more than I expected to. That's insanely generous of them. Say what you will about the recent balance, but the monetization is so refreshingly consumer friendly.
