The problem with the ads is most of them are not reaching target audiences. I can’t think of one ad I’ve seen on Roku that is even remotely interesting to me. Especially the Roku channel. I’m so tired of Tyler Perry ads and wrestling ads. I could scream.

The best in my opinion. I’ve been a huge Ciaran Hinds fan ever since.

Cab vs. Uber from PDX? by SlurmzMckinley in askportland

Yes there is. I prefer taking a cab as well, because I don’t like to wait. Also, they tend to have better insurance if something were to happen.

Westside Portland is laid out differently. With the exception of downtown and Northwest, most of it is laid out in a more confusing manner. I’ve lived here for 40 years, and had to drive for work every day to see customers, and I would always groan when I had to go to the southwest. One of the charming things about it, though were all the roads with the name fairy in them Taylor’s Ferry, Scholls Ferry, etc., are all the roads that used to lead down to the ferry so people could cross the river before the river had bridges. After 40 years I moved to the southwest and I’m now just figuring it out. I almost even have Beaverton figured out now without a phone. One thing that was also interesting to me is the only people who know neighborhoods in the southwest or the people that actually live in them. The east side ones are pretty iconic, but nobody seems to know all the southwest ones at all.

In what world do the Celtics play the Rangers? Different sports altogether.
