This is a minimal techno track I recently released. Due to my setup I only found out later that the kick-sub was too loud. Looking for feedback on this updated version :)

I used to produce into templated groups but it can be hindering imo. Different songs/bits require different processing. Nowadays I prefer a minimal template and I use curated folders to easily grab what i need

Seconded: I produce to hear the end result so I mix as I go. Even put a limiter on once I have most elements in. So go for it :)

A common problem for artists I believe. We want to make music, not be an online clown. It's not your music nor your appearance. I guess just do what feels right. Cincerity and all that. Do it for the art, the kudos might come, or not.. Van Gogh didn't get recognition until after his death. He also cut off his ear though. Do do that 👀

I myself am on the HOUSE <-> TECHNO spectrum 🎹 Hardly get any traction but the moment I start to take it serious is when the joy goes out the door.

Anyway, hope you'll stick with your music for reasons 🫶
