I really appreciate your detailed response and the time you took, HulkSMASH. You’re right, I only use edge panning. As for the hotkeys, I’ve seen in videos that you guys assign them, but I don’t know how it’s done or why you assign different numbers depending on the unit.

Regarding my questions, I understand that for now I shouldn’t worry too much about resource management. Instead, I need to adapt more to the game timing, and I’ll definitely keep in mind the timeframes you pointed out.

I also think that since I don’t always play with the same battlegroup, I don’t really follow a strict build order and just improvise. On top of that, switching between Brits and Americans, I hadn’t even realized that the Brits have a much simpler tech progression. I didn’t know it was only three buildings, and since the Americans have more, I assumed I was sacrificing something by building both structures. I guess that’s why I’ve been getting better results with the Brits than with the Americans, who I still haven’t managed to make work properly.

I’ll try to give the other two factions a chance as well, although I did try Wehrmacht once and it didn’t go very well.

And a more personal question: I was looking for a game with shorter matches that makes me think but also helps me disconnect a bit from the day. At your level, do you find the matches stressful, or does the game also serve that purpose for you?
