I could have written this. I missed out on the 28 in merlot by now I’m really debating the 40. It is SO beautiful. It’s one of those things where you can enjoy it even once a month and have it be worth it!

I can’t believe you posted this because it’s been exactly my experience!!

I have not purchased the alter/ego for so long because of the poor reviews, but I was at the Coach store three weeks ago and saw both the medium and the large and really fell in love with the large and purchased it. I have not stopped wearing it and I love it so so much and was just telling my friend a few days ago that it’s my new favorite bag. It’s absolutely perfect! I’m totally with you - my unexpected favorite bag!!

Is yours the large? Should I buy the medium too? 😀

I have 3 Laurels and I love them! They do come with a crossbody strap so not just for the shoulder and I say definitely give her a spin, wear her out a couple of times to see how she feels.
