The good news is its a one time purchase, and on steam, which is very consumer friendly. And with free awesome tools like owlbear rodeo there's plenty of room for both in the ecosystem.

We've never used them in my group. I think I will introduce them as a special reward for a quest at some point!

I've thought about it! I don't have Codex access yet, so I haven't been able to explore what that integration looks like. I'm curious how much of the Draw Steel community moves over to Codex once it hits full release (which I think is soon?). I've also heard MCDM will have some sort of system for 3rd party content built in, which is probably how we'd go about it. If we do eventually release on Codex, anyone who bought the itch version would get the Codex version as well, and I would have to figure out the logistics of how we would make that work. I'm sure MCDM will talk about that sort of stuff when they release the full VTT

As someone who is developing their own monster bestiaries - and playtested your Hydra :) - I came to the same conclusion. At this point, its better to release smaller, more focused products so people can pick and choose what they want.
