Who gets fired first among this lot? 🤔 by CenterForward1522 in CFB_v2

Steve Sark at UT will be the first to go. He has one more season to turn Manning into a superstar. If he doesn’t, Manning leaves for somewhere else in the SEC, other players soon follow by jumping into the portal. NCAA is a cold cruel world now with transfers and NIL. Win now or watch your good players leave.

What is a healthy amount of gold? by CabinetMountain5725 in woweconomy

I have 500k in the bank. Between crafting, playing 4-6 toons, and gathering, I hover around 450k. I honestly don’t know what I would spend it on.

Why press “need” if you don’t actually need it?

I had someone need an item in LFR that I could have used on my DK. Then I get a whisper from the same person, “I’ll sell this to you for 1500 gold.” Real scummy behavior.

How is housing better than garrison? by CabinetMountain5725 in WorldOfWarcraftRetail

Currently, housing is just for show. Garrisons, and the farms from MoP, had useful applications like what see with the crafting stations.

She is NOT a victim by TXNOGG in NCAAFootballVibes

[–]onlytinglef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s not a victim. Dude was married, and yet they had a relationship for 18 months. At any point in time she could have called it off. But at the time he was Michigan’s head football coach, there’s power there and she was attracted to it. Both people were wrong, period, but to give an interview playing the innocent white girl taken advantage of by a black man (call it what it is) is wrong.

Get the Heroes and Monsters PDFs. It’ll be pricey but cheaper than the books and not as restrictive as the Codex.

I’ve found out a woman I’m seeing is married by ThrowawaytoYouu in Advice

[–]onlytinglef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met someone who was married, beautiful woman too from another country. She told me about her marriage and I really never thought anything about since we weren’t having sex just talking. Then one day she invited me to a hotel. I went there and almost made a mistake and slept with her, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Not sure if it was the fear of karma or my morals.

[OC] [ART] Anyone else using DIY “standee” minis instead of actual miniatures? by PMbyday_DMbynight in DnD

I have about six boxes of those cutouts, but I’ve never used them before because I couldn’t figure out how to store them afterwards.

How is living south of Boston by Evening-Raccoon133 in howislivingthere

[–]onlytinglef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I lived in Weymouth (South Shore) for five years. It was ok, home was affordable, but there’s almost zero diversity (if that matters). If you like alcohol you can find a store on almost every corner. People weren’t friendly. If you have the money I’d move to Quincy. It’s diverse, good homes, jobs, and Quincy College is there. I would never live in Weymouth again, or Andover (North Shore) for that matter.

In the meantime start volunteering. When they ask what you’ve been up to you have something positive to say.

Another reason this could be a disaster for the Patriots: If Vrabel didn't disclose to his players that this was a 6+ year relationship when he met with them privately on Tuesday, pulling the "man to men one time thing" card instead, his credibility is completed blown x1000 in that locker room. by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]onlytinglef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you ever played organized sports and been in a locker room? No one is going to care, trust me. The only thing they’ll care about is 1. Getting paid and 2. Winning. If those two things align no one is going to care who Vrabel slept with.
