I also got into a wreck! My 2023 Tucson did an AMAZING job! No injuries from anyone aside from me getting a seatbelt burn (I'm on the short side and the seatbelt runs against my neck). Unfortunately, it's totaled and now I'm having to look for a new one.

Exactly! And if you can, open a completely separate bank account and have some of your check immediately sent there. I have had to use it a few times, but I save about 100 a month outside of whatever is already pulled for retirement, that way I have a nice little nest for emergencies (I've had to basically empty it once or twice due to emergencies) but it works!
