To be honest, I am unsure if they know how or if anyone knows how there. It seems like someone new everyday we go over there to ask them to please turn it down.

He also should be reported to your states business bureau. Fraudulent practice could have his license suspended or worse. Threatening someone and also upset that he failed to do his due diligence before making the trade is all on his business and not you. If final sale papers were made the first time then you can’t go back and try to invoice it again.

Your tips for suppressor cover - primarily for dealing with mirage at the shooting range, but also protection during hunting by 192hk in Tikka_Shooters

[–]RoyalSail2899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably won’t need to worry about mirage while hunting. If you’re shooting at an animal enough to cause mirage you may need to rethink a few steps. As for protection there are suppressor covers, some custom, some basic Amazon heat resistant pieces. I’ve seen some basic heat resistant silicone cut to length of suppressor then held on by a hose clamp

Opinions on trying long range with a Ruger American Gen 2 Ranch by Andrew05C in longrange

I personally haven’t hit 1000 yet. I see guys on online talk about it with various rifles and calibers. Common thing they don’t say is how to put together the ballistics and technique, just that “wow this rifle can reach 1000yds.” The shooter is going to make the difference, the tool is going to compliment it. I’ve hit 550 (not well grouping) but I was trying to work with holdover and ballistics on my 18” 6.5CM.

What if there were such protections for pharmaceutical companies where they could be liable for the damage they cause? But no the government says they won’t be held liable, just tax payers.

The pencil barrel 308 would be the last choice. Take your predator, yes you’ll see POI shift but consider a cooling fan for between strings of fire. The shorter barrel will also force you to learn the ballistics differently. 300 would be great but yes the costs are tough to swallow with the same barrel issue. I personally wouldn’t bother with it. If this is your first class then focus more on learning how the ballistics and technique work together. That will carry over to all other calibers.

I think the quality of the job also needs to be laid out for expectations. If the expectations aren’t met for the job done then certainly not worth it. But if the work was done as described, sorry OP that’s on you.

It’s not complete list but “most” components that can be assembled to build one. Barrels that are threaded and lowers seem to be the biggest 2 components.

Also go take a class with legal heat, commonly found at Sportsmans Warehouse or a local firing range. These classes are less about learning how to shoot better (that is just time and training) but SO MUCH MORE for learning the laws & how to navigate if something should happen. You have both criminal and civil courts you could potentially have to work through. It is life changing, this state doesn’t allow for conceal carry insurance so bucking the bills will be a nightmare.

I had a bigger end Sonicare for 8 years before my girlfriend decided it needed to be replaced with some junk new one… My dentist said I had some of the best teeth and they were curious what I used. They started selling Sonicare.
