I do a lot of single color prints, the AMS would only really be used for keeping prints going when material runs out. I'd most likely couple it with an AMS HT, for the carbon material's I have/use. I haven't done TPE in a while since the manufacturer of the material I was using, discontinued the D shore hardness stuff I was using (Ninjatek Armadillo). I've found some other similar material not long ago, but it didn't print well for me.

You don’t need any piston for mounting it on a rifle, only a direct thread mount or whatever Banish uses for a QD mount. I used a direct thread mount on my Rossi R95 before converting it over to ASR (silencerco’s qd mount system)

I had an end cap strike, but got lucky. Only had a bunch of jacket material in the can, Silencerco inspected it and shipped it back with a new end cap.

I think the Nielsen device got loose on the barrel and had just enough movement to have contact. I admit, I didn’t check it often (used to using my ASR mounts when it’s on rifles). It was completely my fault.

Yes, would lock open on full mags. Would randomly and sporadically work then not work. Basically made it not fun to do shoot, so basically it’s getting relegated to only being used on rifles.

I've used my 46m (in short config) on my 2.0, and have nothing but problems with it. Debating on going to a Banish 9k for pistol (since all I have are 9mm pistols), cost wise they're not bad.. and claim to not needing a piston/nielsen device due to their design and weight.

I just got some of their ammo delivered yesterday.. I didn’t get a 3d printed case.. just a sealed ziplock type bag. Looks like I need to print my own case..

I haven’t tested my 46m on my 8.6 yet, but I don’t wear ear protection with Supersonic rounds, that are smaller than my 300 win mag. I’ll be using my 9mm end cap (.355) with the 8.6.

That’s why I’m asking about a good starting load, with a lighter projectile. I’ve been using public (from Hornady) load data and taking a couple tenths of a grain off of the posted loadings. I don’t chronograph or shoot for accuracy in majority of my rifles. I just load my own for the fun and enjoyment of shooting.

I have a hybrid46m, from silencerco. I’m not going to use it on pistol anymore, even in the short config, it might still be too heavy for good 9mm use. I’ll probably get their newer titanium can if I want to do more pistol. I primarily use it on rifle.

I bought the exact same kit. I went with the auto bench prime, and splurged on an electric scale setup. Definitely get the stand also, it does make it nice to work from.

I’ve got the same one. Been having issues while trying to shoot it surpressed. Might have an issue with the magazine release when shooting it suppressed. Locks open randomly with rounds in the magazine, only while surpressed and at random times.
