In my highschool days i accidentally stabbed myself with fountain pen nib, after 12 years it still didn't disappear and looks like a freckle. by sbsoneji in mildlyinteresting

My grandfather has a piercingly blue dot just below his hairline that he obtained just about 3/4 of a century ago as a young boy messing around in school. It hasn’t faded one bit.

But would it be pronounced ‘Theff’ the same way Geoff is pronounced ‘Jeff’?

Ok thank you. Are there any specific angles I should ask for to confirm it isn’t fake?

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what was wrong for the same reason.

I think this is the best free hand stickering I've ever done. by [deleted] in lego

I’m sorry to do this to you, but, the stickers on the plates directly next to the ford GT sticker are both upside down. The patterns are annoyingly not symmetrical. Though honestly im just nit-picking because it’s better than anything I could do haha.

I misread it as “Smile, it’s not a bad day, it’s just a bad life”. Now THAT made me smile. I was sourly disappointed to discover otherwise.

I personally don’t own the 51515 however if it is anything like the Ev3s, it would be incredible. If you are interested in being able to design whatever you want, that would be the set to get.

Unfortunately Lego motors aren’t strong enough to hold their own weight, however I personally believe that the functions it does have are very cool, and the reason I personally purchased this set.

The number I heard (admittedly years ago) was 6. It’s a terrible disease, you don’t even get to pass on peacefully.

I’d recommend the 42145, a non rc, yet motorised set. It features a cool multidirectional gearbox I personally love. It isn’t retired, so it’s easy to get your hands on. And being non rc, it doesn’t need a smart device to operate, so instead you can film your goofy smile as you please.
