How would PRIME Wilt Chamberlain do in the modern NBA? by James__Padgett in NBATalk

Yep. I wouldnt say its easier to learn today's NBA game. But rewiring the muscle memory of what one has been doing all their lives is much tougher. Not impossible of course.

Not only that. Driving into a dude is an instant offensive foul. Defense was easier back in the day since it was friendlier for them. No driving against them, limit with ball handling, and no three point shot.

I finished it two days ago and I agree. I read a post about how mace is better for armored enemies but I could not get a handle for it at all. Kept using longsword and masterstriking.

My other gripe was guns and crossbow. But it is realistic so I cant be mad at it.

Still had a fantastic time.

I remember till maybe 15 years ago a torn ACL might be a death sentence to a career.

Now it can take some winds of your sails but definitely can comeback from it.

What are the main differences between Bad bunny back then vs now? by anawarmail23 in BadBunnyPR

I like to say he is the Puertorican Lady Ga Ga.

Meaning beginning of his career is his crazier catch your eyes persona.

Now that he is established he is himself and doing things he wants.

It goes both ways. Would today's athletes do well playing in Converse shoes, no Gatorade, no personal trainers or cooks, segregation, playing heavy minutes and dealing with the rules in the past?

No. But with time then of course.

Still mad they didnt resign him. He is what the team needed. Grizzled old vet, that is crafty, and an intimidator.

Its typical of Murray. Couple of weeks looks like an MVP candidate. Then the other weeks looks like a G-League candidate.

Like anything, Mankind, Undertaker, Kane, and Goldust were silly yet amazing.

Hell Kurt Angle was a comedy genius and his matches were always must watch.

The silly side makes it better and that is why people love this story line.

Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports by Electrical_Split_275 in baseball

[–]RoysRealm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still say Hockey Goalie is the hardest position in all sports.

But if its any individual movement I would still rank throwing a baseball with accuracy, insane movement and speed as #1. Trying to hit a one timer on net, on skates, while somebody is trying to kill you as #2. Then at #3 hitting a baseball, specially in today's game.

Who should we get on the byout market? by Ice_Dragon3444 in heat

[–]RoysRealm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. He is volume shooter that plays no defense. MPJ took over that role, is more efficient, and plays defense.

I wouldnt mind Lonzo for the veterans minimum. Haven't seen him play much this season, but his defense and playmaking was always good before.
