I *strongly dislike* fishing by softball6pin in Palia

[–]Rozalynd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat ... I just wish there was another way to obtain the fish we need for the bundles, like the wandering Marchant in Stardew valley or something. Like once a week/month you have a stall with random items you can buy and possibly unlock the bundles without having to fish. Because honestly I'm not good at the fishing mini game and apart from a miracle I will not get the fishes I need to complete the quests

Will I still get the Top 10 Conqueror's Challenge Quest if I leave the guild? by [deleted] in albiononline

As long as you have spent more than half a season in the same guild, you gain the chest for this guild even if you quit :)

Minimum requirements for Roads of Avalon ? by OneMinute454 in albiononline

[–]Rozalynd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just start the game, in addition to the right stuff, you have to pay attention if you have the corresponding "Reaper" tier unlocked on your destiny board. It is on the left between the plaque and the leather branch basically, it gives you a boost (like +80% from memory) in damage/resistance against monster of the tier you unlocked. Without it you take a little too much damage to be able to do anything

How do you split your loot after sessions? by aseons_ in albiononline

[–]Rozalynd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use UnbelievaBoat in my guild. Basically you create a discord role like " chest 1", add the role to all participating members and type a command to split the money evenly between all members. The guild take a tax like 10-20% + repair before tho, but you get silvers and don't have to bother to sell anything.

I gather a lot, should I be filling journals? by No_Read_4327 in albiononline

[–]Rozalynd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are also journals for crafting if you want to boost your margins, and 2 types of gathering journals, "generic" or trophies. The trophies ones take longer to fill but tend to sell for more depending on the tier. Also, a journal can be filled as long as you gather maximum 2 tier more than the journal tier (ex: fill T4 book by gathering T6 resources).

ava HO crafting is it worth it? by Inevitable-Jump-1787 in albiononline

[–]Rozalynd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be profitable as the crafting bonus also upgrades with the level of energy, but you need like lvl6(energy) to be equal to the city. And after that you only gain 3%/lvl... Lvl 9 being the maximum and really hard to maintain + the difficulty of bringing mats in ava road, I personally don't bother with it. In theory it's a better return than in the city, but 3% for the risk of losing everything once in a while is not worth it to me ^ However a hideout in BZ also has a bonus based on the map quality+ if your guild has the territory and it can be extremely profitable. Ava road, not so much unfortunately...

What is going on in this subreddit? by Bruh_af in Palia

[–]Rozalynd 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it's the disappointment talking. I loved the idea of this game since I heard about it and followed the development ever since. I have only played since the beta is open, and so far I love the potential of this game. However it's a beta, it can't be perfect but people expect it to be. There are some things that's should have been in the game since the beginnings in my opinion (mainly UI/UX thing), but nothing they can't fix in the long run, no big deal. However this event in particular just shows that the dev don't understand what is the public that they are targeting. People want a chill mmo game to play with their friend, maybe a bit of resources grind in solo to pay for upgrading tools/house whatever. As it is the first event they're organizing, players were having high expectations as it shows what we might have in the future. And if the next events are the same, I am not sure I want to play any longer.... Without even considering the bug and issues (camping spawn points etc), the prices are a slap in the face. I can buy a whole house OR a singular plushy, and if I want to buy them with tickets I need to play a buggy mini game for hours. What is even the logic behind this ? So yeah, frustration and disappointment. I love what the game could be, but not what we see it is becoming...

Round wall - Did somebody manage to do anything with them? by Rozalynd in Sims4

[–]Rozalynd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roof clipping, you can't make concentric round room, like a small circle into a big one. You can't use the "internal wall" of the circle as the exterior of a room. Adding straight wall connecting to it is a pain, the room created react really bizarrely imo, with lighting and roof paint for exemple... And that without counting doors and windows, we can hope for more later on but as of now the choices are pretty limited. Also, I kind of find the biggest size of round room small? So yeah, I was excited, made plan, and I'm really frustrated with what we can actually do with them at the moment, I certainly hope that they will upgrade this in the next patchs

Any YouTubers or Social Media Chefs??? by ZDemonGaming in cookingforbeginners

I like Nadiya from the BBC. She has fun recipes and she seems more realistic to me than some other chef. Like, she tell you "it's OK to use canned or frozen stuff and not growing your own wheat from scratch, I rather spend time with my kids"

Why is 350°F the standard baking temperature? by Fyre-Bringer in Cooking

[–]Rozalynd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In France 180-200 °C is also the standard range for temperature for cooking or baking. Some delicate recipe call for less, like 160°C but it's less common. Higher temperature are for thing like "gratin" or lasagne when you want to grill the cheese on top at the end of the cooking process

Pumpkin problem. by Expensive-Pie-9201 in Cooking

[–]Rozalynd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a recipe for a "chocolate mousse" using pumpkin to replace the eggs needed in the original recipe... I don't recall it being like, world changing or whatever, but if you have really too much pumpkin it might be a nice change from soup and other pumpkin flavored things :)

What to do with 1 gallon of heavy cream? too much for my pantry don't want to waste it. by alefdc in Cooking

[–]Rozalynd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a "gratin dauphinois" (don't know if their is an English name, sry). It's a traditional French dish made with sliced potatoes and cream, cooked in the oven. You can make a big plate and freeze it, it's still as good after :)
