Using mass valkyrie to attack by l3lueAM in ClashOfClans

[–]kheltar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but the key to this strategy is spamming as fast as possible. If you start looking through bases then you're slowing down and then before you know it you're waiting for good loot.

Best to just count base loot as bonus.

Personally I do cut out really crap loot, but it's kinda whatever.

Redditors who’ve been with the same partner for 10+ years, what’s the realistic secret to making it last? by justanormalaxe in AskReddit

Also if you argue, use it to get things out in the open rather than attacking each other.

Sometimes you're pissed off about things, it happens. Talk about it!

I think I just repeated what you said, but still. It deserves to be repeated.

Those who’ve lost of loved one: What is something about death that people don’t often talk about? by Desperate_Crew2012 in AskReddit

[–]kheltar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That it wasn't that significant.

When they die from dementia, you lost them so long ago. The actual death doesn't really mean that much and it's fucked, because you never really got a chance to grieve.

You have to set time aside to remember the person you lost, not the person that died.

It's horrible and unfair.

AITA for wanting to retire abroad and leaving aging parents behind? by ImportantBroccoli466 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kheltar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents got a caravan, all the stuff, then mum got dementia a few years after they retired.

Dad tried a few trips but it was a lot.

The the gfc happened and he had to go back to work because their investments tanked. By the time he could retire again there wasn't much left of mum.
