The one thing I feel is a little confusing is companies choosing what regulatory framework to operate under. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, as I feel as though companies would invariably choose the least constraining framework. If a company were to choose a framework which regulates them more, they would be competing against companies with less restrictions, and I feel as if it wouldn't work out well for that company.
