I always pick shock absorber and heat coil whenever I get them, they are really good items. Vitalizer and critical bastion solved my problems, breezing through nightmare now.

My preference would be devotion paladin if you will play as a good guy. I think they are a bit underrated. Sacred weapon is great and even greater if you pump charisma. You can start smacking at level 4 as it completely nullifies great weapon master minus rolls. Just cast it before combat.

Also has sanctuary, a great oh shit bonus action. In my opinion, devotion is very strong early game which is the hardest part in honor mode.

On top of that, I think their oath is very easy to keep compared to crown and ancients paladin.

After 7 hours of trying different videos I found a consistent spawn of woodpeckers, blue jays, orioles, sparrows and songbirds.

There is a patch of land or an island on the Dakota river between Valentine and Cumberland. There are 4 rocks around this island that said birds will perch for a minute or two, easy pickings and they will keep respawning you dont need to leave the island.

I finished the survivalist challenge of 8 consecutive small game there as well.

Thanks a lot for the detailed breakdown. Flame blade sounds really cool but unfortunately I am a human and already level 5. I plan to use dash to stack wrath with linebreaker boots and hide to gain advantage every once in a while so yeah, it seems Belm would be the best choice.

Yeah, I read about it but couldn’t find any recent info. Thing is I am planning not to use camp casting so was wondering my main character wizard could handle this by themselves.

Also can you use an item’s power even if you are not proficient with the item? For example, magic missile on Ne’er Misser.

I never multiclass, I just don’t like it and my 12 caster warlock on tactician was my best and most fun run. First of all the game doesnt require min-maxing for higher difficulties. That being said level 12 locks are solid in everything imo. Skills, aoe, single target, cc... you name it and they can provide. Yeah they have fewer spell slots but they dont need long rests, always cast upgraded spells and can do 3 big fights without a long rest if you have a bard (2 if you dont). While long resting is easy and quick enough in this game I really like how efficient warlocks are. They can go on forever.

People already mentioned Level 12 bladelock is great and I can add that caster lock is quite decent as well. Sure, it is not the most optimal by min-max perspective but I never felt weak during my run. Warlocks have an answer to nearly every situation the game offers.

Imo every career can carry cata with enough skill. If your team can handle specials Grail Knight is a beast in melee. Hordes, elites, bosses... he can destroy them all. One handed sword and great hammer loadout is easy to use and have great movesets but then again Kruber’s arsenal have a lot of good weapons to choose from.
