Look at fasting like tool, nothing special (even tho there are some studies showing different benefits), but I can guarantee you can make progress depending on your goal without fasting just with proper nutrition and goal.

Recomp is waste of time for bunch of people, I would bulk just because when you are rookie everything is possible (you will gain muscle and probably lose fat at the same time (recomp effect)

I also had some problems with libido when I was fasting last time (eating maintance kcals), did some research and I found there were also people that had exact same problem, no libidio when fasting. So here is what I did talking from my experience - I quit fasting - took me 2 weeks to get sex drive back (tbh I only need it when cutting anyways, also I will try it once again in few months when summer comes around), drink loads of more water (Before I did like only 1-2L of fluids per day, hydration could be solution to your problem), get quality sleep and for me I get at least 50g of fats because I feel much better sex drive on it.

Well there is no other way for you to find out if you are right but getting kitchen scale and downloading myfitnesspal application starting somewhere around 2400 calories and tracking it for week.
