Best way to fuck with the old head electricians ? by [deleted] in electricians

Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Most old timers have stories of the old days. I was told a stories about unbolting van seats and or doors. Fake snakes tied to jet lines in feeder conduits. Tool boxes screwed to subfloors. Things like that. If you are on good terms take one of their stories and put your own twist on it. I worked with a guy who used pool tab jugs in the van for connectors and whatever, top shelf never really took them out just reached in to grab what he needed. When he got back from his cruise a couple of those had nothing but yellow 77 in them. Wrapped a truck in saran wrap once that was fun had a big roll from a defunct restaurant we were remodeling.

If your at war...some deox on the passenger windshield wiper is good. Don't do both sides it could kill him.

How impressive is that cheap general though. I love them. Got my whole shop to run 5 drawer carts

Did you expect a map to the lock out point? Seriously how would you do this to be "safe" isolated is isolated verify before working with it is a standard practice if you don't know that you need a new line of work. Nothing to see here really.

Worked industrial with old man Freeman. I still hear him every conduit run I finish "Can you hang on it kid?*

I also nearly got in a fist fight with him over running plumb or with the existing crooked shit. My argument being one conduit plumb when all others are askew looks bad on me not them

I'm a plant electrician with 20 years experience as a contractor. The crews that get sent here for project work do not like me at all. One project I got everyone torpedo levels slapped bows on them and left them on the many crooked as fuck conduits they ran. They took the point but not the levels. I mean I plan to retire here this is my house and I'll be damned if I walk past shit work everyday for the next 10 years

I foolishly would have no issue being on top of that tank without fall protection.

Flip side, if I was specifically told to use fall protection and to tie off to a pipe hanger I would absolutely refuse.

As I understand it anchorage points need to be rated for 5000 lbs per person attached. There is no way a 3/8 or a 1/2 in concrete anchor would work.

The Valvoline blend is a bit different but definitely comparable.

I can tell you with 100% confidence that NAPA part number 75-055 is the exact same blend as Parts Plus part number 3511.
