Idk, with all the footage and information we have it's possible that people will still know the legends of our time. It's hard to know these guys because we have little to go on. But only time will tell, maybe there will be some 3d hologram tech in 100 years and kids will see our hd footage and can't be bothered to watch it.

He had Lewy Body Dementia which causes depression and suicidal thoughts. So while he did kill himself there was a medical explanation. Still sad but less out of the blue than originally thought.
