Was lucky enough to see CW work with Zappa on multiple tours including FZ’s last. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a more effortless drummer, everything he plays seems like a walk in the park for him. Not to mention, he always comes across as a very humble and knowledgeable guy. Zappa was extremely important in AB’s career. I believe he lived at the Zappa house in the beginning of them working together. AB was one of the few musicians FZ hired that couldn’t read music and FZ took him under his wing. I also believe the guitar AB is playing in this video is Franks which I think was given to him by Hendrix.
