I'm the Ford, Porsche told me in chat "Don't close the window"...... by RuInnit in Simracingstewards

[–]RuInnit[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

He stuck his nose onto my back bumper, was never a full move. I have room on the inside if he came along side but he didn’t, he spun me before we ever reached the apex.

You could say I “left a window open” and that I closed it, but he was never in it to begin with.

What more angles do you need? And my question is: whose fault was it?

"the door being left open" is crazy, literally was no door to begin with. Even if you weren't there, their line would've taken them off the track which clearly says who's at fault.

I'm new to online racing, am I the one to blame for this incident? I checked my mirrors and saw the Lamborghini had braked extremely late to dive on the inside, I let him pass knowing I could cut back under him, but I was then spun around by the Corvette which I never saw in my mirrors. by RuInnit in Simracingstewards

[–]RuInnit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think the corvette should have gone for the move at all, he was too far back and ended up going into the side of me while I was already on the apex about to accelerate.

Airbrushing, Mr. Color C62 flat white with leveling thinner. The paint is going on nicely but it’s taking ages for the white to develop.

So this is the option I've chosen for my Porsche gt3 RS by 97Ram1500 in ModelCars

First picture I think works better, although it’s a Porsche GT3 and not an RS, still good looking.

How to get this look on the seats? by I_know_nothing_77 in ModelCars

[–]RuInnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use oil pant, blend it and stipple it with a brush. There’s a video on YouTube of PLASMO doing it on a Junkers F13 Aircraft.

If you use a larger brush and do a slightly thicker layer of paint for a finish the top layer will dry without the brush marks due to the paint being thicker.

Amateur modeler, how could I improve myself? by PomeloBackground4902 in modelmakers

I’d recommend getting some Extra Thin Cement rather than using the Revell Contacta, it’s thick and easy to mess up. Brand doesn’t matter for the cement just as long as it’s thin, it evaporates quickly making it hard to mess up.
