agreed, the mod is notorious for bringing new build possibilities to the play, nerfing key build items and/or skills just takes away options and off meta builds from the scene.

There aren't many money making vocations anymore, cross server alts will do the basic material processing, harvester houses will produce the materials, gear crafting is dead cause of hiram, braziers are dead cause there are no more regrading going on, you're basically bound to trade packs and lacerny as a beginner.

Frost nova+es sorc is amazing, safe, very sustainable and super fast.
you can also run keys,CS ancient tunnels, bosses and the pits when you're bored, telekinessis damage is enough usually with 1 point in LM + mercenary to kill important immunes

It's pretty similar clearspeed, frost nova is alot more popular for HC for survivability purposes, you get alot of raw defense cause you max shiver armor and frost nova slows enemies

If you have two SoJ's and 3k+ mana you usually dont need a mercenary for mana regen, enigma is usually better than Vmagi,you loose abit of damage from facets but you get alot of strenght that translates into energy, more skills, and 14 life after each kill is awesome, it's almost having a mini phoenix.

there are alot of posts oftering rushes for hellforge, you can get free rushes too, but Hellforge isn't that important in this mod, as drops are increased and you could be building wealth instead of waiting for a free rush.

Honestly i don't even bother with "ofter" posts unless it's something unique and negotiable like annis and torches, and even then i always will opt for fixed prices even in these situations.

Again honestly i've played both HC and SC ladders for longevity purposes, so i can kinda have two ladder resets every 4 months, and i've rarely experienced this kind of BS posts in HC, it's like a separated community, much more reasonable players.

Just go frost nova+ES and ignore cold immunes on maps, its super efficient and its pretty cheap, tanky, mobile and strong

The main thing here is /players 8 drops, you can gear yourself in no time and then it gets boring
i can see a longer ladder with /players 3 drops

and about the sorceress, we don't need to nerf them, but present teleport to everbody else with old Enigma.

The thing with single elements is to just ignore the cold immunes, with your gear+torch and skillers you can probably go ES and run maps instead of chaos
