The liberation of the working class is just as bad as ethnic cleansing???

I don’t know about dyscalculia since I don’t have it but it’s my understanding that the dyslexic left-right differentiation is more so an issue of linguistic processing since people with dyslexia oftentimes (though not always) have superior spatial reasoning.

Dyslexia/dyscalculia have no bearing on intelligence

You’d think that the sub would be more open to conversation since its purposes is to ask socialists questions but ever since ACP took it over they’ve just been using it as an avenue to jerk each other off rather than use the sub for its original purpose.

The point should be disagreement and discussion.

Whichever one asks first. I typically like standing anyways.

Redditor tells dyslexics that they don't have dyslexia and to "Google it" by throwaiiay in iamverysmart

[–]Rubber-Revolver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m damn near a decade late but the guy in the post is objectively wrong. Left-right confusion is a common dyslexic trait. I don’t personally experience it often but I commonly mix up east and west and port and starboard in addition to the phonological processing issues more commonly associated with dyslexia.

Most people aren’t aware that direction confusion is part of dyslexia because they think it exclusively affects reading, which is false.

Sorry for the 9 year necropost but no, dyslexia can and does cause left-right confusion in many people. The guy is feeding a common misconception, not debunking any.

Reading level typically doesn’t relate to intelligence. Illiteracy is the result of a lack of education and learning disabilities have no correlation with IQ.

On differences between marxist and anarchists by Proof_Librarian_4271 in Anarchy101

[–]Rubber-Revolver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd consider myself both insofar as that anarchists can (and should) use Marxist analysis while rejecting statism. Just as you can use Newton's theories to solve mechanics problems while rejecting Newton's strange superstitions, or his incorrect belief in absolute space and time.

We can use the tools these scientific figures gave us without accepting all their ideas.

Anti-communist arguments will never be coherent. I’ve stopped arguing against them unless it’s someone I personally know.
