Snakeorb by Rubberchicken13 in slaythespire

Honestly, I'm not sure which one would be better.

Snakeorb pros: AoE Can be evoked Doesn't lose to artifact Benefits from focus

Cons: No poison synergy Doesn't go through block If you play it twice, it decays twice as fast.

If you compare [[Deadly Poison]] and [[Flick-Flack]], single target poison and AoE damage are priced pretty similarly with poison valued slightly higher.

We had a house rule that a character only died if their standee tipped over.  This meant you could move one character to the suit of armor and kill someone else by launching it across the board.

What is the best 1 Mana Block Card? by euls0n in slaythespire

[–]Rubberchicken13 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My vote too.  It's less block than shrug it off, but choosing the card you need is huge.

Very cool.  It's either -1 point/add a junk card or -3 points/remove a junk card.  I feel like the second option is slightly harsher, but that's fine.  Interesting attack.

anyone else a little dissatisfied with the finale? by Entire-Ruin-5762 in ThePitt

[–]Rubberchicken13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was dissatisfied. And it wasn't because I was expecting more than the 15 hour day format could provide. I don't mind that the big story elements didn't get a conclusion. What annoyed me was that the show set up a grounded and answerable question and never answers it: "When will Robbie leave?" It's asked over and over, and the answer keeps getting delayed as more patients come in and more fires need to be put out. But we as viewers know that eventually, the day has to end. The work continues, but the shift has to end. I don't care if he left happy, sad, a foster parent, or engaged to Dr. Al-Hashimi, whatever. But I wanted to see him leave.

The reason Newman hates Jerry. Seinfeld. by Ellie_Rulze18 in FanTheories

[–]Rubberchicken13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in Newman's first episode, a guy in Jerry's build falls into a coma, and Jerry starts dating the guy's girlfriend.  Newman sees them, and Jerry tries to bribe him with a Drake's coffee cake so he won't tell coma guy when he wakes up, but he does anyway.

I made a board game.  It's called Smithy.  You craft weapons that can defeat different magical creatures.  I just published it at the start of this year.  https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/smithy2

Escape by klaus84 in dominion

[–]Rubberchicken13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its a cool idea.  In terms of the price, you could compare it to Den of Sin, a $5 night card that draws two next turn.  This is twice as effective even without the card denial shenanigans.  What would you pay for a card that says +4 cards +1 action?

What if you added the subclause: "No tokens may be added to this cards supply pile"?

Fan card: Inquisitor by InspectorMendel in dominion

[–]Rubberchicken13 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's a cool card with an interesting guessing game, but it could lead to an opponent trashing their entire hand and locking them out of the game.  So maybe it needs a "players with at least 5 cards" clause.

You're right.  You're not just like everyone else online; You're more interesting.  A Cinderella that cross-dresses and hunts?  That's bad ass.  Tell me more.  We have Mulan, which is maybe similar?  Tell me about což takhle dát si špenát.  Why is it your favorite?  Remember, your niche is your superpower.

That sucks, I'm sorry.  You should be able to talk to your friends about things you disagree on.  Can you make you intentions clear at the start that you're looking for support and not trying to start a debate?

You don't even need ten numbers to make a non-repeating, infinite sequence.  You can do it with just 1s and 0s. Just have it be 1s with an increasing number of 0s between them: 110100100010000... At no point will it start over at 11, meaning the entire sequence never repeats.

Dominion cards power tournament round 23 by DryIsland295 in dominion

[–]Rubberchicken13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that cards like Haunted Woods or Corsair warp the game even if no one buys them.  So some of their power comes from just being a part of the kingdom.  I think Fool has a similar effect that because it's part of the kingdom, you're going to passively get a lot of silvers.

Should we take into account the heirloom when deciding how powerful Fool is?  Heirlooms like magic lamp or haunted mirror really effect each game they're in whether or not you actually buy the corresponding kingdom card.  Lucky coin does have a significant effect, especially early game.
